Intersport buys MG

Intersport Racing bought an MG, saying they are going to compete in the full ALMS schedule.
Are they still going to run the LMP900 Lola?

So do they put the baby Judd in there? Isn't that the most powerful? Actually, I don't even know if the Mug will fit a Judd.

No- if they've bought an MG, they'll run the MG/AER 4-cylinder turbo- the car was built to take that engine, and anything else would involve a major redesign

Is there any info on that Reynard? This is a new design, right, not the one Barbour ran last year? Got any pics?

the only pictures are i know of, are the computer models their using to test aero parts. the last lemans and sportscar racing had pictures of the wind tunnel models.

the scans of the computer models can be found here

also meantioned in that articual is the people who made the r8s gearbox, have done the same thing for reynard. it wont be the exact gerbox, itll be different placement wise. but, itll built on what they learned from making the r8s gearbox. and yes, itll have paddle shifting.

I doubt that unless MG pull out you will see anything power the Lola but the MG engine. The relationship between the two is not the greatest in the world, so we may see a "Chrysler LMP" like car in the future, that is, powered by another engine after the factory leaves.

The new Reynard looks promising but they are not exactly doing great in the money department...
