Deletraz certainly takes the cake. Paul Belmondo wasn't particularly good either.

Deletraz still stands head and shoulders above the others. A pay driver who never paid, criticized in all corners, and dismally slow in everything he's ever driven!

Yeah the F1 rejects profile of Deletraz is one of the funniest things on the web (I know I keep bigging up this iste, but it really is fantastic)

"And what IS Deletraz doing?"

Or Ricardo Rosset- I loved that wisecrack Brundle make, when Murray said that a lot of people were debating whether Ricardo belongs in F1, and Brundle noted that it was a short debate.

What about Andrea de Cesaris? The amount of mistakes and crashes he made in his career was unbelievable. Just like Takuma Sato really. Or should that be Sato de Crasheris?

i think its a bit harsh having a go at perry mccarthy, he was driving an andrea moda, michael andretti on the other hand was nothing short of shocking, surely gaston has to be considered, as does tarso marques

Atrocious luck and one Podium doesn't strike me as bad-disappointing, maybe, but not in league with Taki Inoue, Delatraz or Ricky von Opel.

And as for Diniz, he was no Fangio, but he fared pretty well against his teamates, Salo and Hill.

Rosset was never given a chance by teams

Yoong is a decent driver and only missed Imola cos of the stupid officials, NOT cos he was too slow.

Indeed, McCarthy's performance can be blamed entirely on that unforgivable excuse for a team that was Andrea Moda. Perry's a really nice, but woefully unlucky guy who has managed to drive with distinction in GT and sports cars.

Michael Andretti _did_ have an honest points-scoring finish, though!

De Cesaris scored significant points, had a pole, and a fast lap.

Andrea Chiesa would be on my list right behind Deletraz. He had no excuses for not making the grid in 7 of his 10 entries in the at least adequate '92 Fondmetal. Never finished any of the 3 races he did qualify for. Hasn't done anything remotely impressive outside of karts since he left F1.

Michael Andretti wasn't that bad. He was killed by the Senna dominated McLaren team.
