Achille Varzi
Hi Folks , I seem to have come across a little bit of a problem.
You may have noticed on the tent tenths home page today that I have Achille Varzi listed as passing away today of natural causes. But as I was just doing a forward check on what anniversaries are coming up in the next few days I noticed that I also have Achille Varzi listed for the 2nd of July as having died in a crash at the 1949 Swiss Grand Prix. Now I am confused so I thought "off to the Historic forum with me then" Can anyone inform of which is the correct information ? I cant have that on there and I would like it as accurate as possible. Mix of the 2 with corrected typos - I have him as being killed in practice today in 1948 for the Swiss GP (source Venables: First Amongst Champions).
