As far as I know, the agreement to run the BTC T rules to the end of 2006 was between the teams. I'm not sure if it was legally binding/written down or whether it was simply a gentlemen's agreement.

The BTCC's BTCT class is unsustainable, clearly. At some point Vauxhall will get bored. I reckon there's three solutions:
- nobble the BTCT class a little further to make them truly comparable with S2000, and encourage more S2000 entries - scrap BTCT, and go entirely S2000. - Scrap the whole thing and exhume SCV8. |
