Why is the Ferrari Enzo not used as a racing car? Is it because of the limited availability and/or cost price?

probably because Ferrarri is a very strong brand .. and Maserati is owned by Ferrari ... and Maserati must sell mopre cars then ferrari to make some money .. and one way to do that is to use the Maserati Brand in racing ... and with a good platform .. the Enzo ... so it would not cost as much as developing a new car ...

The picture on the beginning of this thread may not show the final shape of the car, as they are still testing different shapes.

According to virages.fr.st the F575 GTC will be presented officially coming tuesday (9th)in Frankfurt. The car should race the 5th of october in Estoril

I was very happy this year when prodrive´s ferrari won le mans.... What a soudtrack from the maranello.... Hope its replacement is as fast. They have to concentrate on improving the downforce, because they seem invincible over a straight line (they were faster than many LMP´s....)
PD: it´s so long since i don´t post, must have been the summer hot...

well who know if it will be a winner right out of the box. i think the car looks neat and it looks mean looking but i still think the Prodrive built 550 looks better. i like their aero package better

The 550 was developed by the very professional company Prodrive but it wasn't a winner in the beginning.
