You haven't heard my soap box speech about there should be men in.... oh well, save that for another time. If you walk past the 'totty' and here a brunette going on about men should be there and what they should be wearing - that'll be me!

Should I alert BAR Harlot to this thread? Stephen in his BAR top AND a G-string... I think it'll be a bit too much for the poor love...

Nah! I think a better suggestion would be to get back on topic about the Autosport Show and who's going. It's not that long to go now...

Getting them on the day is a bad idea. You'll be waiting for ages to get a ticket and it will cost more.

What's on in the live action arena this year? Doubt I'll actually be bothered to get tickets for it though.

Too loud, too smelly and too boring. But the main thing is - I found I was always watching the time and refused to go too far from the arena. This year I can wander to my hearts content...

The fact it's totally over-hyped and stage managed, perhaps ?

Tell you what... how about you pass me that spade and you stop digging ?

As Craig has already said, it's completely stage managed, it's over hyped to a ridiculous extent and you pay for a rubbish view - a result of the extraordinary amount of safety fencing (yes I know it has to be like that with being such a small indoor arena) and made worse by the accompanying light show, something which I personally find exceedingly annoying, especially when combined with the noise (and I'm not referring to the car engines). I'm not so desperate to see cars on a track that I can't wait until the season starts.
I don't see why I should pay whatever the Live Action costs just to have a place to sit down for an hour - what are the bars for
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, mine is that the Live Action Arena is overhyped rubbish, I'll leave you to disagree with me, I could call you a sad loser, but that's really not my style

HEAR HEAR!!

My two penny worth is - the cars/vehicles/whatever do not particular interest me except maybe the Reliant Robins but once you have seen them upside, on two wheels etc etc you've seen it.

The only good thing was the sit down but I'm sure I'll find a bit of floor somewhere to do that.

I am a people person not a car person - seeing 6 odd super stocks going round a minute track - no thanks. Having a natter with someone I haven't seen for a few months - yes please

As real live action costs too much. The LIVE Action Arena is value for money

Why else is it always sold out?

Last time I looked you could go and watch club meetings for a tenner. Isn't that less than buying a live action arena ticket on the day. So, the Live Action Arena offers value for money when you see an hour of race car processions compared to a full day's racing

As for selling out, well, people might see it as somewhere to sit down and have something to eat or they haven't been in before and buy tickets not knowing what to expect or I guess there's always a few who might actually think it's the best thing about the show
