Peter Scillitoe should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Brands Hatch 17/18 April 2004

As of today - for reasons beyond the control of the BRSCC - we are yet to receive tickets for this meeting. Clearly, they will not go out to marshals until after Easter, and regretably may not reach you until after the event. So, if you are down to do this meeting and do not receive any tickets you know the reason why, but, please do still come using your MSA card to gain entry. If you have not put down to do this meeting, but are now free to do so, please contact Mildred (Marshals Secretary)[and not me]by email<mildred@brscc.co.uk> or telephone 020 8302 1638.

This seems to be a bit of an on-going problem with MSV circuits - let's hope it's just teething problems whilst the new owners find their feet.

Might be a good idea for all Chief Marshals who read ten tenths to post sign on times etc on the site until things smooth out.

Hopefully these will be posted on the BRSCC SE Centre website [http://www.brscc-se.co.uk] within the next 48 hours. It is our intention that this information will from now on be posted on the site on a regular basis.

Have a Happy Easter

As you may have read on another thread, we had similar problem with tickets for Snet not arriving until Monday before the meeting. I was told BRSCC at Snet had same the week before.
They said something about ticket printing not working under Windows 95 and centralising ticket production at Brands. Thought after one problem they would have sorted it by now, after all it's not rocket science. If its true that they are using W95, (unsupported op sys) then I am worried!!!

A big thank you to all those of you who supported us at Brands Hatch this weekend. The weather today (Sunday) was fairly unpleasant, and the drivers seemed to throw themselves into the scenery on a regular basis (32 cars in the gravel in one day on one post [Post 20]must be something of a record. Hope to see you all again at our next meeting at Lydden Hill on Saturday 08 May.
