CSMA Classic Brands Hatch 14/15 May

Just got this from the CTCRC looking good for full grids.

Brands Hatch

The grids a filling up nicely for the ever popular CSMA meeting. Group One is already full and taking reserves, Post Historic and Classic Thunder have a few places left.

The race timetable is available at http://www.barc.net/timetables/dtt200506.htm

Afraid not. I'm back next weekend for the Donington Top Hat meeting then I don't get any more time until July and I've put an entry in for the 75km all comers race at the MG Car Club International meeting 24/25th. I plan to finish in Turkey end August so that makes me available for Spa and the Top Hat at Mallory in October.

Trouble is the CTCRC calendar doesn't coincide with my leave rotations. Its also a bit pointless spending £700 to fly home especially for a meeting, if I'm only getting a fifteen minute race.

BTW. Can you pm your address Gary I've got a DVD for you.

Pah! £700 should be nothing to a man of your wealth and only a small part of your multi billion Lira racing budget

They've dropped the "millions" now.

But worse still I'm paid in USD.

*Sigh*.

Good luck you lot. Hope its as good as ever.

The CTCRC reports that all of their grids are over subscribed. And apparently there's a problem in UK club racing.

And with Don Hughes, Martin Howells and myself that will be 5 Mk1 Golfs in one race.

Rolling road tune tonight, if nothing goes wrong I'll be at Brands bright and early on Saturday morning for CT qualifying.

I think Pete is referring to the list of entries that come through the post with Final Instructions Neil. We (csccgb) dont get issued with entry lists, BARC hold them and as far as I know dont post them on their site either.

Have entered Oulton and will probably use last year's engine. Miffed at not getting to play at Brands as we regard it as our home circuit.

See you all at OP.

Yes, there are lots of places to get knocked off there, as for the head gasket, the engine builders of Kent and Essex are now looking to buy a couple of Villas in Florida.......each
