I didn't follow qualifying so I don't know if anything happened, but the gap between Wilson & Rahal worries me, I've always really rated Wilson, but watching him struggle on ovals is disheartening. ..praying it's a blip.

To be fair, Enrique Bernoldi, EJ Viso, Mario Moraes, and Jaime Camara aren't former Champ Car drivers as none of them have participated in a Champ Car race. They only drive for teams that participated in CCWS last year.

I turned on lap 4, to see caution. It is lap 7, and still caution.

Not sure. I tuned into the FCC train, so do not know what happened.

I flipped back to NASCAR since it was green.

Kanaan has been the star of the race I have seen to date (hard to tell a bit, though, when switching races). Everytime I have come to see this, Kanaan has been doing some passing, or moving quickly.

Well, they have all had their stops and are green, and he is still going (5th). So it cannot have been anything - must've just been slow for a bit.

i've actually been flipping 'tween stockcars, superbikes and indycars. none of them were that great but the IRL race was the closest.

I was flipping Nextel and IRL (I would've added any other motorsport on the hotel system, had such existed).

This is one of the painful things of no longer being in a permanent home: I can no longer watch one TV whilst recording on three videosets.

It would give me plenty to over over the days between each weekend. Ah, well, so it be. Now I get to pay hundreds of dollars to catch 2 at best.

I could just let it be, accept the loss, remain in my tent, and suck it up...

...but I cannot do that...

Yes, but with typical ABC coverage they missed half the live action while in commercial or Indy flashbacks. You could see situations developing but the director switched anyway. I have a 28 inch non high def.
set and for me side by side is almost useless.
My eyes are still pretty good but I really can't tell the cars apart, in most cases, with side by side. Better than no coverage though.

Yes, please do not criticise side-by-side: the alternative is nothing but ads. At least with side-by-side we see the track.

I PERSONALLY 100% SUPPORT, LOVE, HAVE SOLOPIST FANTASIES OVER SIDE-BY-SIDE: IF SIDE-BY-SIDE WERE TO BE ABANDONED, THEN I MAY GO ON ESPN/ABC-BASED KILLING SPREE.

Please, ESPN (ABC does not do side-by-side, as I can tell), I am a peace-loving person: please keep side-by-side.

Nice win there. Looked like Dixon was just going to dominate, but Ryan popped up and found some pace out of nowhere.

Great drives again from Viso - shame about the marble run.

But also Servia - cheeky stuff passing Marco to get on the lead lap near the beginning, and with no yellows for a bit had to work his way all the way around to the back of the lead pack - and eventually earned a great 6th place finish and top of the ex-Champcar drivers.

Great race.

Marco - some foolish driving here and there - namely by taking out Carpenter at the end, who was a lap ahead of him I think.

I'm not too impressed with Rahal's comments here or at Indy either. Seems to think he's something more special than he is at the moment. Manning was racing Rice and Rahal just hadn't pulled off the pass at all - it's not Manning's fault he decided to use the part of the track with all the bouncy rubber bits on instead and whopped the wall.

I'm so happy for Ryan!

His career has been all over the place since he chose to join Ganassi in 2005.

His talent is unquestionable, but he just couldn't find himself in the right situation.

That was a great win too - to make up ground from 11th on the grid at Milwaukee is a fantastic effort.

And I agree with Hazard - Servia was brilliant as well.
