BTCC Brands Hatch viewing

I have been given tickets for Saturday and Sunday at Brands.
I dont like crowds, queueing or sitting in traffic jams.
So will there be alot of people there, will there be traffic jams and will I have to pay for the privilage of sitting in the grandstands. Also is there public access to the pits and or paddock as there is at club meetings or is it all policed by the oily oaf look-alike, black shirt brigade who take you raound the back of the Kentagon for a sound beating with a damp fish soaked copy of MSN weekly if you so much as look at an empty seat with the view of putting your bum on it without permission written in triplicate?
If I do go what would be the best time to go/leave to avoid being caught up in the traffic jams.
Thanks for any suggestions or answers

Hmmm, get there really early to avoid the queues and try spectating from the enclosure on the inside of Druids. If the weather is hot and sunny then you will find plenty of shade there and you can also lay out your picnic blanket and pass copious amounts of cold drinks to the poor marshals on post 7 (me as it happens)

Don't like queues? Try to plan a route avoiding the local car boot sales which seem to cause most of the problems.

Don't like crowds? It will be busier than your average clubbie but not stupidly so, maybe 15-25,000 people.

Pay for grandstands? Yes you will, but chances are if you haven't already got a ticket for the paddock stand it will be sold out for Sun.

Paddock access? Yes to the outer paddock where the support races will be. No to the inner paddock. There will be a pit lane walkabout during Sun lunchbreak if you want to collect autographs and/or Max Power stickers, but if you don't like crowds maybe best to avoid that.

Best time to arrive? Early

Best time to leave? On Sat not before the Heritage Grand Tourers race On Sun, expect a mad rush as soon as the last BTCC race ends. Best to let the traffic die down and stay for teh last few races.

Thanks for that, I will probably go early and leave after the second touring car race.
BTW, I will be obeying the 'Do not feed the marshals' signs

McKay has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Ill Be There, on the Inside of Druids for the first few support races, before heading off around the rest of the track. If you want Stephen, ill bring you a can of coke

My favourite place to view other than paddock grandstand is at clearways/clark curve, or half way down hailwoods hill, so i can see cooper straight.

Duffacus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Do you need a paddock pass to get into the pitlane walk about?

As it will be my first time at Brands, also what about parking?

If you are spectating you will be directed to the public car parks on the outside of the circuit. My advice is to get there early to avoid queues! If you are marshalling then parking details are on your final instructions from BARC.
