Old GP's

Is it possible to obtain old copies of Australian Grand Prix (ie. 1985 to present) off the great (note sarcasm), Channel Nine? I'd be interested in get them if you could.

My brother has taped every GP that's been televised in Australia, all of them except the 76 Japanese... you want to contact him and get a copy?

No, not the brother that races the Sedan Car (or whatever that thing is called...) but the other one, who lives in Glenbrook.

His name is Brian and he can be reached via me... 0411 280 267

Somebody sent me an SMS message to get tapes from my brother, then I had to take a phone call and lost the message... now, I can't make my Nokia work in the message department, so please don't SMS me...

Please, whoever it is, ring me... my brother will do the tapes for just $5 each.

Is that hard? I think he has retailers who buy from him, mabye he could include tapes with their bulk parcels and you can pick them up...

Or maybe you just have to cop the postage... after all, four tapes (8 races) would fit in an $8 express post satchel... is that so bad? And you'd get them overnight.

I don't think so, I rang Nine a couple of years ago and they said they can't sell old races to the public and to try ringing the Australian GP office. I rang them and if I recall properly, they said they couldn't either (something to do with copyright infringement or something similar).

I also tried putting an ad in the classified section in Motorsport News and got plenty of responses although some people wanted upto $20 for each race (including the full coverage with support races). I got burnt doing this as I sent off a tape to some guy but never got a reply (Prick. Unless the tape got lost in the mail, in which case, not a prick).

On the F1fansvschannel9 site they have a tape exchange section which is good (I got some races from a couple of people on there).
