Mondy33 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
One the best circuits, very atmospheric
And with PA there will be good to see some great touring car action
Might have to make the trip

Very well supported grids, 30 in 2.0 Cup, 41 in HTC and 76 in Sixties knowing already a reserve list.

Given the circumstances not a bad entry for the 60s race....sadly not many minnows!

Monza is one of my favorite tracks. I know it by heart playing racing games such as TOCA Race Driver or Superbike. One day I'd love to see it, but now that's not the best idea

If you do get a chance to go, go for it! It is a great circuit, walking the old banked circuit just adds to the atmosphere- magic!

When you think its lying inside a public parc yes everything is magic in the area. Some parts of the old banking seem good for skaters!

As to the meeting, I find the grids well supported given the circumstances as you say, only the 2.0 Cup looks a little bit poor. With c 35 entrants, the HTC does resist but as on usual very few TC1, Mustangs apart. Everybody wants to compete in the big dogs league and try and win the overall classification.
Will did you see the french Jag', how is it?

I remember U2TC going and we considered it briefly . . . . then someone said its a small car killer, flat out, stop, flat out, stop . . . . modern F1 hasn't been kind to the old circuits. Bus stop at Spa being a case in point.

nothing wrong with the location though!

Zef...trying not trying to temp fate, but we have always been surprised at how well the 356 goes at Monza....maybe it is because we can’t cope with anything more technical than flat out/stop/repeat !!

Many kudos to the 356 dream team, finishing 25 th overall, with what is "probably" not the most powerful of the Sixties. 42 cars finished the race, 34 classified.
How was it Will, a piece of… pizza or tiramisu?

Big battle in HTC, three Escorts doing good at the beginning of the race. Alas…*23 started, only 12 classified. Two Batmobiles and one 635 on the podium. 2.0 Cup, Marc de Siebenthal was leading but a 1'43 penalty sent him far away from the podium. You know those days…*
