I've now added albums for Thundersports, HGPCA, F1, F2 and Historic Touring Cars (the latter includes the Clarke's Rover) in among other events. |

Now with extensive galleries of the Pre63 and Pre66 GT races - featuring one or two tenthers ... Pre 63 GT on Saturday morning is especially photogenic with the rain - although drivers might think otherwise as the windscreens steamed up and visibility was low / non-existent in the spray. I was sat in the shelter of the Luffield Grandstand for those photos (sorry !). Pre66 has evidence of contact on more than one car ... |

Thanks David, enjoyed these. Is "Dutch Tilt" an actual thing?

Apparently yes - I was dubious too. It originates from Deutsche Tilt - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_angle
All I know is it can be a useful way of presenting a racing car - but not on every photo ! There's another technique called ICM - Intentional Camera Movement - which was apparently one of Charles March's techniques in his former life as a photographer. We all practise that one from time to time, I suspect but without the emphasis on Intentional ! |

I co'-own the Netuar with Rob Glenning. We found the car in South Africa and shipped it over in 2017. It's a great little car and we're looking forward to racing more in 2020. We had quite a few teething problems at Silverstone (misfire, stuck in gear, etc.) but it was the cars first race since 1969... Rauten's grand daughter and great grandson were at the race which was fantastic.
