2014 Formula 3 European Championship

2014 Formula 3 European Championship schedule:

19-20 April: Silverstone (WEC)
03-04 May: Hockenheim
10-11 May: Pau (standalone)
31 May-01 June: Hungaroring
21-22 June: Spa-Francorchamps (WTCC / FFSA)
28-29 June: Norisring
12-13 July: Moscow Raceway
02-03 August: Red Bull Ring
16-17 August: Nürburgring
11-12 October: Imola (Italian GT)
18-19 October: Hockenheim

That's 11 rounds in 8 countries, including two street courses (Pau and Norisring) and classic circuits like Hockenheim, Nurburgring, Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps and Zeltweg. I really can't complain!

The only drivers confirmed so far are Antonio Fuoco (2013 FR2.0 Alps champion) and Esteban Ocon (3rd in 2013 FR2.0 Eurocup), both in Prema.

It's in the article, he might be sponsored by Galael's father who's some big name in PepsiCo in Asia and Giovanazzi's racing is also paid by him. So Carlin will again have someone with big $$$.

I'd love to see this guy jump straight to F3 this year. He's been incredible in karts, and if given the opportunity [yes I know a very big IF] has the potential to be a future F1 WDC. He's possibly one of the first young drivers to emerge on the scene who has the genetic makeup of two racing Superstars. His dad is ex F1 driver [and karting superstar] Jos Verstappen and his mom was one of the greatest female karters of the last two decades, Sophie Kumpen. Some say she was a better driver than Jos !

Hope he doesn't do what his dad did by crashing in F1 and messing up some big chances to ruin his reputation. This is assuming he gets into F1, which he probably will.

Funny that Max is quicker than Tom in Tom's old team. I would have suggested that part of the reason for Tom's up and down year was that the car wasn't right. Not something he will suffer from if he nails down the Carlin drive.

Doh! Tom drove for Eurointernational not motopark! But I still think he will be more consistent with Carlin.

Blomqvist is quick but he has largely failed to put together an entire weekend, yet alone championship...

He did a wonderful season with Eurointernational! It's a new team and they're not anywhere close to Prema or Mucke, so he did great.
And Max is so fast, because he's running F308 with a boost button It's very hard to judge these times as everybody is driving different cars/engines/tires.

No boost button, push to pass permanently open away from the official ATS races
