my sources show that there's just a 31% chance of rain on saturday and that it should be partly cloudy on sunday.

For every event I get it of CNN, at the time, I gave the figures and the picture had thunder and lightning with dark cloud and rain for both days.

oh well, its not like weather forecasts are remotely accurate

I use wunderground.com, it has long term forecasts for every airport in the world.

Yep.

An all Penske front row - they always seem to do well on these shorter ovals.

Looking forward to the race.

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I hope they will not hurt each other, like they used to in the past, #3 & #6 needs points...

Well they won't hurt each other, but Andretti Green's Honda engines are so ... powerful
Wheldon, this years Champion in the making, won in the Honda Indy 225. Incredible pace . All but Sam and Tony wasn't lapped down by Dan.

Dan tied Sam's single-season record for victories in a single season with 5 now.

Momentum is a funny thing. I realize Weldon has had a quieter post Indy period in terms of wins, but he's on quiet the roll. Contrast to Kannan who did so well last year and has been a less successful this year. I felt sorry for Dario, despite the fact that it was his mistake. I was kind of surprised when Weldon started challanging Dario, he seemed to come from no where.

What happened to Herta? He often seems to start strong but finish in a surprisingly low position?

Briscoe in the wall again. I think it's time to egg Manning's home in retaliation.

It's WHELDON! With an H!!!!!

An entertaining race, that - Dan must have one hand on the championship trophy now.

I thought he was going to lap the entire field at one point.

Fairly good race, even for being Pikes Peak (which is my least-liked track on the schedule). Some of the situations involving backmarkers were the highlights of the race, especially that four-wide deal at one point

Yes, and I enjoyed the multiple duels between Tony and Sam involving backmarkers.

I did not watch the race...I was running a golf tournament for my church yesterday afternoon and by the time everything wrapped up, it was 9 p.m. by the time I got home....

I did go to the IRL photo gallery, and it looked like there was a good crowd at the event....the place holds about 43,000 people

I look forward to my live IRL fix Sunday evenings now, it's replaced my F1 viewing.
Some of the passing lapping moves donat half make me whince though...especially when Dan clipped Helio
