Have to say that I'm only really considering recent times, but these 4 really do it for me! Just beautiful.

We need another yellow team in F1! That old Jordan was majestic looking in 1999!

The scheme that never was / probably never will be. Lovely mind you.

I love that one. Too bad it won't happen.

My actual favorites would have to be the 2005 Sauber, the last of the Jaguars, and probably the 2006 Midland red and black.

I quite liked The all orange pre season testing livery Mclaren had last year. But then I have no taste.

Oh I forgot that one. I really liked it. I was hoping they would stick with it. The chrome look was nice though.

thats Ian Hutchinson, who has designed some cracking liveries in his time (Silk Cut Jaguar(s), Q8 Oils F3000 Reyard from years ago, although didnt know he did Irelands A1GP car. He also designed (at least the early) Mild Seven Benetton liveries.

Always loved the West McLaren-Mercedes livery. Especially on the gorgeous MP4/20 of 2005. Looked equally good with the Johnnie Walker signage too!

JPS Lotus is of course as iconic as it gets.

I personally don't really like the JPS liveried cars, dunno why, just, nothing special about it to me.

My favourites are the 7UP Jordan, Olivetti Brabham BT56, "zipper" BAR, and of course, the Super Aguri SA06.

I've never been quite as enamoured with the 7Up Jordan as everyone else. It's nice, but not stunning or anything.

I expect I now have to dodge these from some of you

If you don't mind me saying, you're weird. Not special? It was even called the John Player Special!

Funnily enough, with all the condemnation of tobacco advertising over the years and as much as i admire the John Player Special livery and the drivers involved during that period. It never persuaded ,me to take up the habit, at an age when you would have thought i would have been vulnerable to such messages.

This years Spyker is very attractive, and as it's slower you find you look at it for longer!

I quite like the Leyton House scheme from the Early 90's

The 7UP Jordan 191 gets my vote. Simply stunning in a very uncluttered way. I also love this years Spyker as well Robin

Dunno why actually, it just doesn't do anything for me. :-\

Another comes to mind, the Winfield Williams cars!

Also, this years Williams, best looking car, livery-wise, on the grid this year. (IMO)

OK if I nominate a car from the pre-sponsorship era? I've always loved the Team Lotus Lotus 25 - the British Racing Green, the yellow stripe, the yellow wheels, the yellow pinstripe with "Team Lotus". It's a great looking scheme (I know this is a model, but it shows it off well).

Oh, and the best driver ever drove the thing...

Tough job Rupert Keegan used to have

So it looks to me like its neck and neck. 7UP Jordan and John Player Special Lotus.
