I'm doing it! Will be flying to Japan in May. One week in Tokyo before taking the train to Nagoya, where I will stay while I attend the Super GT race at Suzuka.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I'm doing lots of research so i think I'll be okay for getting there and getting around.

I'd really like to go on a circuit safari, but I will only be going on Sunday. Will that be possible?

usually you can take bus (400 JPY) from Kintetsu Railway Shiroko Station (50 mins express train from Nagoya Station) and traffic condition should be okay for access (about 25-30 mins for ongoing and additional 10 mins for returning trip during Suzuka 1000km last two years)

About accommodation there are couple of hotels in Suzuka city but usually rise up price, living in Nagoya should be better for sightseeing with additional one hour but event finish time are quite early.

for circuit safari it happen on Saturday therefore it is impossible.......and the activities itself ticket selling is a mystery

Team Studie BOB Suzuki blog contains a controversial episode.
He is quoting a BMW M6 GT3 promotional movie by BMW Motorsport.
Surprisingly, NO Super GT activity in that movie.
Suzuki says that Super GT doesn't exist in the world seen from Munich.
And he says Super GT is "a Galapagos island."
Is he saying the truth or is it just sour grapes?

For the sake of their future in the series, I hope it's the latter one. If they plan to do class 1, then hopefully they don't view Super GT as a remote island

Thanks a lot! Very interesting! And in auto-sport article from Sepang tests it's written that these tyres have been already used on FR cars?

Yes.
#19 and #24 had used that tire in Qualifying session in Suzuka 1000km.

Sour Grapes
it's a movie which only contain Blue Ribbon events as Bathurst 12hrs,FIA GT World Cup and Daytona 24hours with all interviews from Bathurst
fine, you may count Suzuka 1000km also big but it is not necessary roar from BOB Suzuki

Probably a mere of sour grapes. I've just seen the video, actually not all races (which have M6 GT3 on the field) are covered on the video.
I think the selected races from each continents are well-represented as a "global race".

If BMW makes that video again for 2018 racing season, hopefully they include Suzuka 10hr race.
