Thanks Hugewally for clarification on what I said. . at least you and I are on the same page for "night" racing. From Roger's interview, it sounds like the possible fuel pick-up issue is no longer of consequence...I can see Timo and Romain (and Ryan) on the podium with their Porsche flags just as at the ALMS races! Lots of history being discussed involving Roger and the interview with Brian Redman was awesome!

we have about 2.5 hours more of Speed (at times a lousy HD picture, looks like it's snowing in FL) and then it's live timing for me until 6 am. Speed then runs from 6 am to 3 pm. Catch you tomorrow.

Raphael Matos (2008 Indy Lights champ, will be in IRL this coming year) blew a tire right at pit exit and had to drive all the way around on 3 tires. All the shreds of tire on the frontstretch going into the turn brought out...another caution. The race started so well with nothing for 3 hours, and then someone hit the switch.

Some drivers and teams use it to illuminate the dash inside the car without ruining the drivers depth perception and vision in the low light (aka night ) conditions. Not sure how well it works now with the placement of the new cross cockpit restraint system.

So now that I have looked into it, it seems not only is the biggest GA race of the year not televised in its entirety, but there is also no audio stream!?!? I'm really disappointed in the series for not supporting their premier race for fans who can't attend. Sorry for the late night ramblings, but damn, I can't feel the series lack of love for the fans....
