FPRXR-6 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
David Flint and FPR part ways

I've heard that David Richards is doing a major overhaul and has gave David Flint his marching orders.
Anyone else heard this?
No disrespect to David Flint but it was about time major changes were done at FPR.

David Flint has already posted on another forum that this is untrue & he will be staying on until he retires as always planned next year

AA made it sound like Mr Flint is out the door about now....

... that the retirement was pulled forward to maintain an ease of exit.

The part that makes me unhappy in all of this, if the AA article is correct of course, is that Mr Richards openly admits he ignored FPR and its operation to focus on the BAR Honda program.... that would make the Ford people really happy, to know that the boss of the "saviour" team they threw upwards of $6m a year at was a trifle too busy to worry about structuring the team appropriately to achieve results.

If I were Ford, I would be asking for a discount on the 2005 series cost!

I think you will find Ford have cut back FPR somewhat this year, actually it is a rather large amount, seems they have sent more money to a couple of QLD teams that have new drivers onboard
