I think your assumptions are wrong - not mine.

What Ifthere was a wind tunnel available at the same cost of the current procedure...

Nick Percat would bet both his houses they would use the wind tunnel.

It is GOOD that the process has found this now. This season HAS to have at least a perception of equal performance between marques out of the gate.
But DJRTP is the best team, so they SHOULD be winning all the time. Yet said winning all the time creates unwarranted complaints from Commodore runners, in spite of February 2019 VCAT ***clearly*** showing technical parity at 200 kmhr in a straight line... The only condition where technical parity on aero was specified.

888 winning all the time because they were gifted 40kg more aero load without justification is untenable.

Note Will Brown contracted to Erebus for 2021.

They won't need 3 cars.

As great as the technology is, they all validate in the field. Just look at the amount of array's that the F1 cars have bolted on during testing. All that data is compared to the tunnel and CFD data. It's been said before with F1 that the CFD and tunnel show improvements, but the once on track they get a different result.

So in this case, something isn't adding up between the data and results they were working with.

Don't forget, they take all the data from the field and the tunnel into the simulators, so if that's out by any percentage, they could end up way off with simulator runs and proposed set ups for the weekends.

The tunnel is a great place to start and understand, but the tunnel is such a controlled environment, once you apply the bumps in the track, spring and damper movements, it changes everything.

The ultimate set up in a tunnel would be not only to have the car on a rolling road, but then have actuators in the model/full size car, that adjust/make the car ride like it's on the track. Shaker rig meets wind tunnel...

Bit rough. In all, with all the hiccups and hurdles he had to deal with towards the end of the season, I thought he handled it pretty well. What did disappoint was the ungracious response by other drivers far too keen to start flicking mud online.

If he uses the media to describe the entire Nascar pitliane as "toxic" but then claims bullying when people respond, he will 1) end up in the wall and 2) probably get belted.

IMO it showed a side of him that turned me off. Something about believing your **** doesn't stink.

Randle won't be driving for Tickford in Super2 in 2020. Has he also been flicked from their enduro line-up?

I was led to believe he still has the enduro drive - I could be mistaken though..

Has anyone heard if Stanaway is staying retired?

His social media is a strong indication he is no longer a race car driver. Even if he changes his mind I’d be surprised anyone would entertain the thought of him driving for them.

I thought he was going to do a year in S5000. But still remain as Holdsworth's enduro partner.

Is everything okay at Tickford? Team (and Rusty French) favourite is out of there, replaced by Feeney. But Randle lobs at MWM with Skye Sands??

what im hearing from my Cuz (worked at tickford) is that when randle wanted to do with MWR super 2, tickford said no co-drive, so he looked elsewhere, had 4 offers that day, shame he would of been good with holdsworth again.
Maybe feeney with holdsworth now?
