I think a lot to do is with the state of the championship and all the contenders being at the front. They saw what can happen with Sutton at the last round and Colin has shown playing the percentages is the way to go.
Seemed to be a fair bit going on further down the grid looking at the live timing but they didn't show any of it. I'm still waiting to find out what happened on the last lap of race 1 between Geddie, Hawkins and Hamilton. Geddie lost 30 seconds on that lap somehow. |

I disagree, yes, that's not an easy track to overtake but I enjoyed the battle, it doesn't have to be all about passing. It was still an extremely close racing with a lot at stake so I liked it.

Phew! That was an exciting finish, a much-needed one too, boring processions are supposed to be F1's Forte.

His title hopes only went during the last race in 2019, and he has every chance of heading to Brands this year with less of a gap. It was only a short while ago that some were claiming Sutton was going to walk the title. (For the conspiracy theorists- Neal starts on the back of Turkington's bumper for Race 3 ) |

well they showed it , from the other side of coin you can say it would be annoying if they cut in middle the rather colorful Tingram/Butcher/ Sutton battle to some backmarkers are off, as that could be shown later anyway

The BTCC is about much more than just the title contenders. In a season where many of the teams lower down the field are unable to have their usual hospitality, or fans of drivers not in a front-running car are unable to get track side, it's surely more important for tv to cover the whole field? |

Dirty tactics there from Smiley. Turks gets a regionally assisted free pass, while he scraps everyone else tooth and nail and ends up in the barriers for his trouble.

Didn't look that way to me. I'd say Turks nudged him wide with the way Smileys car moved from the onboard shot.

No. Turks was already alongside and going to take the position. Smiley was smart enough to realise if he tried to hang around the outside then the next 2 corners were left handers and the train would come by him. It was excellent race craft from Smiley to realise that the position was lost and that fighting for it would lose him more.

Butcher made a mistake there, but that was twice he managed to run into other cars like that. He'd do well to calm down a bit. Cammish obviously not covering himself in glory either.
