Many interesting cars in the Group C grid, like the Sthemo for instance. The maximum speeds achieved will be around 280 kmph if not more.

A 356 faster than yours, would be new at least in a PA series. I learnt a lot of things watching thoroughly the live timing it allowed me to help some friends… A full time job for a weekend but really worth imo.

Hope the Elva will work fine. "Your" grid hosts a lot of cars and even 5 reserve ones.

Unfortunately we've withdrawn the Elva from Dijon, apparently the pilote is not as an Elite Sportsperson as Motorsport UK think! Hopefully back in time for LM.

Strange situation, I wonder how they'll manage a two driver team. If one is said Elite, is the other obviously Elite too? May be this explains why the GB entries are rather low. Hope A Newall will have fun with his Cobra roadster and look forward a nice battle between four Daytona coupés.
Two 356's and one 2.0, you'll be missed Will!

Have they said need an International licence to be classed as Elite?

I think its too late for Dijon (no regret seeing the H situation imo). On usual an itl licence is mandatory for any PA meeting but may be its possible to have a licence directly from PA, valid for a particular meeting/weekend?

Hi Will, my lack of Eliteness is entirely due to recent shoulder surgery, so from my medical consultant not the Authorities! Sorry for the confusion. I was informed that an Intl Race Licence was required to be classed as Elite for Monaco, but I didn't follow it through to check if that's correct.

Hi Gerard,
A national licence is ok for a PA meeting and most meetings - Monaco excluded, unless you are involved in an International accredited FIA series (masters F1 etc)
I checked with PA for an entry we had for sixties endurance, unfortunately pulled now.

I'll be at Dijon with the Grand Prix cars - so will let you know how we get on. Then following on to Le Castellet.

Motorsport UK have got more organised with supplying exemption letters - emailed to me next day, rather than 3 weeks later for Monaco.

Will

Yes, Will, we all know you're a very experienced and fast driver sure you gonna do wonders on Prenois' toboggan! Would be great if you have spare time to keep us updated, thanks.

I wont comment the Elite list thingy, but it seems that now there are too many of those IMO. This is not the F1 WC!

Stay safe and have fun.

You've been fast as on usual, Will, best E Type so far. Strange enough a mention appeared on the official time keeper page it seems we are not allowed to report about lap times now? OK wont do it.

Yeah not sure what that was all about...think I will carefully ignore it

It really sucks looking at the live timing rather than actually being there!

I imagine the commentator team speaking on hush hush mode! May be it will give things like "He's neither the leader nor third but I'm not allowed to tell you he's between those two positions" an other guy answering "I second that!"!
The maximun spectators allowance being one thousand per day, I guess after two hours of race each diver will know each spectator's first name and résumé!
