loon should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As there is very little actual racing in F1 why not award points to the aero departments, 10pts for the car with the most front wing flaps, or 20pts for the car with the most bargeboard slot gaps, then perhaps remove points whenever the team managers tell a big fat fib

As there is very little actual racing in F1, just leave things as they are, as extra points for this and that will just be a gimmick.

Overtaking is great, it would be good for there to be more of it, but it isnít the point of F1. The point is to win the race. To find the best at doing that. The fastest car and driver combo who can be fastest over the race distance. Overtaking is a one of the means to achieve that. It is not the goal.

Firstly it is a sport. There should the opportunity for overtaking, but also the opportunity for none.

I hate to see this sport in ten years time. Dollars to donuts it'll be an "F1's Got Talent" variety competition on Saturday to decide the grid for Sunday.

The award for being most in tune with the fans?

Yes, too many championships have reverse grids, it certainly doesn't feel right in junior single seaters

Bernie Ecclestone wants F1 to be an all electric series.

Bernie Ecclestone : "We still own the name Formula One, we still have contracts with promoters, let’s make different types of cars, let’s speak to the manufacturers and start a new all-electric F1, a Formula One for the future"

He's just following the money.

If the sport was peopled by enthusiasts as it was back in the day, then the view would be different. It's only the manufacturers who want "road relevance", the enthusiasts want proper cars.

He's just throwing hand grenades into the room for fun. What Bernie actually thinks is completely unrelated to what Bernie says.

I thought Liberty now owned the name Formula One.

He is probably (possibly) saying that in his non executive position as Chairman Emeritus of Liberty.
