Your purple Anglia is quick with a small capacity engine. I saw your lines and they're bloody good. I guess an ace laptime is the proper balance in balls and talent.
A 2:55 in an E-type or a Cobra makes sense. E's are quicker through most curves and brake better. A Cob is a few pounds heavier. The difference between a good 4.2 and a 289 / 302 is less than a 100 brake.
