Talladega
Yep, next week is the 2.66 mile tri-oval that everyone will have to hold their breath with a wad of cars separating by inches. I say Dale Jr. will chalk up his fourth straight win at the fastest track in the world.

Remember that they were just testing it at Dega last year. They decided that they wanted to try it again for Daytona---but that race wasn't complete- (rain shortened.)
So yet we have to try it again. I would hold off on any decidion that the smaller fuel tanks are a benefit or disadvantage. Smaller fuel tanks aren't the solution. Lower banking is. |

Meanwhile, Jeff Gordon will put an end to the dominance of jr and mikey at Dega this year.

The Busch race on the other hand will have to watch closely since we saw the big one with almost half the field being wiped out last year.

Simple Solution
I have a solution to "The Big One":Slap "Soft" walls on Daytona and 'Dega and let the cars run unrestricted. No 30-car packs=no huge problems.
P.S.I'm with you, muggle not. 24 at NASCAR's largest track! |
