When your main and only championship competition is the Dyson Mazerola, by running a Thursday test day at a super-fast circuit especially with PC and GTC Clubbers out there, you have a whole lot to lose and really nothing to gain.

Hi Everyone!
We spend about an hour and a half on track today, and although most of the day was dedicated to car set up, we placed 8th in the GT class, and were the second fastest Porsche. We were 0.719 seconds behind the class leader. Wolf is a little worried about oversteer and Bryan has his eye on the tires, and together, they'll aid in everything getting dialed in. We kept making progress during the session and are feeling pretty good about the next couple days. The weather is gorgeous, but of course we're still hoping for rain. We've had a lot of fans stop by and it's been fun to meet everyone. As always, you can follow us on twitter at twitter.com/falkenalms. |

Muscle Milk 4 seconds ahead of Dyson as they ran a 1:07.4 in practice, looks like we could see another Laguna-esque snoozefest at the front of the field. Corvettes looking strong in practice however once again the 45 Flying Lizards 997 went to the top of the timesheets. Evora still slowest in GT.

Thanks! It's certainly been a challenge with the new car and getting the right tires to match, but as is racing! We're still charging forward and are going to give it all we've got. We're thankful for all the fans who stick it out through the ups as well as the downs! |

Amazing how great a circuit can look and how many facilities there are when PMG doesn't own it.
Great to hear Jeremy a little. |

Oh yeah, the second asphalt run-off expansion is at the end of Andretti straight.

Johnny's screaming does get a bit annoying at times but at least he's not dead boring as someone like Marino Franchitti.
This GTC quali is always such a long filler sequence before the actual show |

Lol Brian just straightforwarded the maximum displacement regulation and minimum weight sections on that GTE sticker... no wonder, both mean nothing nowadays

This is again one of those power tracks where last year's Porsche would probably go faster than the 2012 model with widened bodywork and less straight line speed. I kinda hope one of the teams had retained the old configuration, someone like Paul Miller to see if there's a difference

So we're 1,5 seconds off from the 2008 GT1 pole time.
Delighted but not surprised by the Corvette dominance, there are three tracks every season where they are most likely to shine for obvious reasons: Le Mans, Road America and Mosport |

Red Flag for a car spun well off the circuit coming out of a slow corner...What a joke.

I don't find it any more ridiculous than red flagging sessions in F1 when those crybabies call Charlie that it's too dangerous to race with intermediates...
That was one hectic moment for Graf |

I'm going to make a shocking prediction, but I think the Muscle Milk car may get the pole...

Lol Dyson... takes me back a few races when they were praising the P1 fight in the booth and then went into ad break or something. Mic was accidentally left on, and they absolutely slammed down the #16 drivers
So Tucker's not bothering with the second car again? zzz |

True, but to quote you from the ELMS Donington thread: it's still more exciting than the WEC P1 lead fight too bad mr dirty businessman will probably still win, #37 always seems to screw up the race
Should be a good race in GTE tomorrow |

Bit of correction, the Evora wasn't the slowest GTE. Though still 3.2 seconds off the leading Vette.
