Blower Bentley Painting

Here's something a little different for a change.
A friend of mine wanted a gift for her father's 70th birthday and as she had taken him to the Festival of Speed for the first time last year, thought it might be a good idea to give him a painting of the car he liked best as he enjoyed it so much - this Blower Bentley.
It is 20 x 16ins in acrylics and I have also painted my friend and her two sisters in the crowd behind the bales
as it was for their father. I substituted the white open face helmet used by the driver at the event for a chap in leather helmet and goggles.
My good friend Jack Sears saw the original and informed me that he once owned the car and it is now owned by The Volkswagen Group since they acquired 'Bentley'.
I hope you like it.

Excellent! I've always wanted to make it to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Hopefully that can happen sometime in the near future.

If we wanted one done for someone's birthday. How much would it cost?

Jay make a date for next year, you will love it! It is so different, more of a 'moving museum' than a proper race meeting but not quite as good as the Goodwood Revival on Sat/Sun 7/8 Sept! That really is amazing!!!!
Hakkiman, thanks, I will e-mail you.

Thanks Tim. I thought I would get a response from you when I posted it as you seem to know your stuff with these lovely older cars!

That was my first thought too, Andrew: "Tim's going to drool!"
