They've just added Allianz on the rear wing. They seem to have quite a good sponsor asortment I think.

I guess the deals keep them with the blue & white, with FedEx and RBS locked in their deals I guess. No extra signage for free, good policy.

Let's hope this car goes like a rocket !

Can anyone else see where the phillips sponsorship is??

The big white stripe in the centre looks a bit empty. They should have added a bit of yellow and that would make it nicer and more nostalgic.

If we hadn't seen the rear of the McLaren last week this would have looked very interesting... need to see a full rear shot to see the diffuser arrangement.

The nose worries me - this is the forth iteration of nose philosophy in four seasons, hope they got it right this time. Seems to be designed to stabilize the front wing while forsaking airflow under the nose. Lets hope they have it right this time.

The paint scheme is okay - cries out for one nice logo on the white part on the side. To be honest the RBS exposure is less than I expected.

They are probably leaving it blank on purpose.

IF you have a car full of sponsors, but you need a title sponsor... why fill up the space ?

you may as well leave it empty so that a business can see that there is an opportunity there.

One beautiful looking car....I would have preferred the dark blue, but I think it looks fantastic, all these wingletts around the sidepods are a little odd?

Well wouldnt it look a bit silly when the primary sponsor of the 2006 season is Jenson Button

They can put "JB" in that white bit on the sidepod

I think overall it looks good.
As already mentioned, there are many winglets which make it look bitty under the dark blue scheme.

Its almost a "negative" of last years scheme therefore the BMW.

Cheers
Peter

Hmm, im not so sure about the sponsorship issue. Look at the overalls for instance. They are CRYING out for sponsors! They may as well have "put your advertisment here!" printed on them. And the car does looka bit blank too. Having said that, I think this will be a good year for Williams and i dont believe sponsorship will be a problem in 07'

Surely it's better than having 50 sponsors plastered everywhere.

My assessment of the sponsorship is as follows:
1. RBS, Bud & Petrobas keep same sponsorship
2. Lost HP sponsorship. Filled on front of rear wing by Allianz. Front wing unreplaced
3. Allianz logo on side of front wing replaced by Oris.
4. Allianz on top sidepod unreplaced
5. Oris on side of rear wing replaced by Hamleys
6. Hamley's on nose replaced by Tata
7. Reuters moved to rear sidepod (NEW)
8. Reuters on nose replaced by Mobilecast.
9. BMW Power replaced by Mobilecast (arguably NEW)
10.Castrol reduced investment. Replaced by FedEx on side of rear wing.
11.New investment from Battery (helmet visors)
12.New investment from Randstad, DeWalt, Philips (association)
13.Castrol kinda new, though their car decals replaced by FedEx, they still sponsor the team.
14.HP logo on sidepod unreplaced

So in summary.
(4) Allianz on sidepod unreplaced but arguably can be made neglible by (7) Reuter's new placement on the sidepods.
(2) Front wing unreplaced but arguably made neglible by (9) Mobilecast apear on rear wing where before it was taken up by "partner" BMW
(11)New sponsorship
(12)New sponsorship
(13)New investments
(14)No sidepod logos.

So yes, Williams has probably come out with less $$$, however, they've still got HP's payout, plus those extra though minor but new sponsorship. I've probably mess it all up but what the hey

Oh wait a minute. Sidepods are already been paid for by Button.

I think the livery looks stunning. One of the best in recent times.

And I've got a feeling that blue paint will be a lot more striking in the flesh.
