Congrats to Priaulx on his fourth consecutive E/WTCC title. Also, Chevy got one more win before the year is up! |

Also an extraordinary success for Thommo with his vintage Alfa 156 and for N.Technology. Nobody could expect them to be in the title race until the last minutes!

Huisman better will get a very nice reward from BMW. He could have won the 2nd race if he didn't let Priaulx get passed. Now he has nothing.
Priaulx is a worthy champion nevertheless. Well done in every possibel way. |

Huisman really deserves a full time WTCC drive, no matter if RBM or WSR.

@asa: I can't remember, that the Gr. A cars overtook more in the city streets. Maybe thats a too good view on the past... Even if I like the old days of BMW M3 E30 and Merc Evo 2!!!!!! |

Once again I just think its a shame these races are so short, thankfully there was no safety car in either race, but there was a race possibly last year, where a lot of it was under the SC, and there were just a handful of racing laps, not a good "show" in my opinion. The races should be (on average) about 4-6 laps longer (depending on track length).

I would be also in favour of longer races, probably 75 kms could be good.

Or at least, more than 9 laps.
15 could be enough. |

I can only presume Thommo wrung every last drop of performance out of the Alfa; so show's the speed of the Chervolet at Macau when Larini got past. |

Unbelievable. I just watched the races yesterday. Priaulx is incredible; likewise Thompson. I agree, the races could/should be longer.

We don't have to go back to Gp. A. We had more excitement even in the Super Production days. Franz Engstler chasing Henry Lee Jr all the way round the track and almost losing it; Nicola Larini trying to overtake Andre Couto along Mandarin Bend...etc. DTM and Super Touring were good, too. |

http://www.touringcartimes.com/news.php?id=1650 BMW is working on a 2 liter diesel engine! I told you and that was highly predictible, plus most of the manufacturers have good diesel engines. Unless the regulation changes, I guess all top cars will be diesel powered by 2010. And I agree with you, diesel doesn't quite sound right with motorsport but Audi changed the rules with the wins at LeMans... |
