Willie Allen's qualified well before on short tracks, and has a Truck top ten at Martinsville. I believe he's a shock (damper) specialist for Late Models and such, so it would make a bit of sense. I don't imagine the 05 car being able to stay up front for long, though.
Interesting lineup. Should be fun. |

Calling it. Fieldy will go on a huge anti-Busch rant.

Why, thank you, Matt.
Was actually hoping that Brad and Kyle would take each other out and a guy with some CLASS but less talent, named Elliott Sadler would go back to victory lane at Bristol. Alas, it wasn't meant to be and another initial, payback spin for something that was just "Bristol" and close, hard short track racing but more of Capt Snothead's own doing helped decided the race. I guess I should be pleased, huh, MJ? |

Away from Kyle and Brad's "tactics," Jason Leffler's result was much needed after a year of unfortunate luck, while Trevor Bayne continues to show a lot of promise. Parker Kligerman, too, scoring a top ten was surprising to see, and sure enough, Willie Allen proved me wrong with eleventh. Good to see some interesting names up there!

Say what?
Tis one helluva entry list, as we should begin to expect at the NW road courses. Few years ago, it was only a handful of them. FULL list of ENTRANTS |

hoping Ambrose brains them again, but this time until after the chequered flag, not only up until one lap prior...

As much as I like Taz, I'm pulling for the Canadian in the 88.... And BORIS, of course. Where is the Said-Head Smiley? |

Legendary superstar road racing ace D.J. Kennington will be in the 24 in place of Eric McClure, who is having headaches and back problems after his wrecks at Bristol and Michigan. Kennington's average road course finish in Nationwide is 30.2, though he has a 9.8 on the roadies in CASCAR with one victory, and a 6.1 in Le Série NASCAR Canadian Tire, albeit winless.
My only concern for this race: Marty Reid, Andy Petree, Dale Jarrett, Rusty Wallace, etc. trying to say "Circuit Gilles Villeneuve." |

Taz on the pole and Jack is outside front row. No real surprise there...
BORIS rolls off fifth. LINEUP Barrett, O-Connell and CASCAR regular Pierre Borque DNQ. Looking forward to it! |

Too bad ALMS starts an hour later than it should (tape delayed) but I'll be recording the race to watch at Midnight and have to ignore the internet until then. I'll likely do that anyway since ALMS is taped delayed meaning Hindy will be an hour ahead of what's happening on screen. |

I hate it when they put a nascar road race and an alms race on at roughly the same time. Imagine the crowd reaction if JV can pull it off tomorrow...

imagining..... annnnnnnnnnnnd.....it won't happen. Would make for an awesome outcome, I must agree. Still pulling for Fellows and BORIS. You are correct on the timing of things...just came to the realization a few hours ago, that we have some overlap between the two Canadian races. I pay attention to things when cars are on track, and not much else. Oops! Tomorrow is a big day; Spa, Indy, Montreal and Mosport. What more does a race fan need?
