If they wanted an equal balance then they should consider giving BMW a weight break especially considering that part of the reason why they carry extra weight in the first place is to nullify some of their start line advantage, if they have no standing starts then I would be pretty peeved if there were no reduction on the weight front to balance it out.

I agree, the BTC specs were a much stronger set of technical regulations and yet they were rejected for the S2000 regs.

And what are they doing now? It looks as though they are trying to change the S2000 regs that were similar to the BTC regs.

I think they should keep it how it is, matching the production car. Same with the engine, ideally...

But I'm definitely against going the other way. If they have to force one or the other, let it be RWD.

it should be small displacement turbos (gasoline, biofuel and biodiesel) for production-shell based cars with the same drivetrain and gearbox technology as the street cars. balance the AWD/RWD/FWD with weight, lose the rear wings entirely, and then let them go at it...

H-shifters are primitive and outdated, in my opinion its just stupid to stand in the way of normal evolution.
