5. I found it pretty dull. If it wasn't for Alonso, I'd have dropped it lower.

My thoughts also. A bit uninspiring. Piastri's gone off the boil a tad.
Alonso was entertaining. Max his usual brilliance.

7. Max did his usual business to win the race by a big margin but Lando is nearly getting there. I think he is going to win his first race this season.

Nothing gets 5 or above from me in future unless there is more than 1 possible winner at some stage in the race.
PS I’m a Max fan but it’s not enough.

Again, the battle for 2nd and behind that was good.

Again, the battle for the win is non-existent.

I don't know how much longer I can be excited by races with no jeopardy over the winner at all.

7 from me. I enjoyed watching Lando get his second while Perez couldn't make any ground on him in a superior car. Fred livened it up too, as usual.

6 from me - it's quite a good circuit I think (and much better than a street circuit) and allows overtaking in a few places. There were some good scraps going on (but unfortunately not for the lead). There have been far worse races than this (and there will be more worse races to come).

I'm not a fan of watching highlights and haven't done so for ages. Not wanting to state the obvious, it's just not the same as watching a race live and seeing it unfold and I find that makes it difficult to judge a race.

Anyway, watching the highlights it looked like an ok race. The Bottas VSC certainly made a difference to team and tyre strategy and then there was the restart, with Stroll rear-ending Danny Ric. Not Stroll's smartest move and the penalty was deserved. I did enjoy Alonso's late charge through the field. 6

never a good sign when the most notable moments center around SC and VSC periods and just my opinion but the Sprint did raise my expectations for the race but was really just a preview of what was to come...Max dominating with some scraps well behind him.

plus hockey and basketball playoffs started this weekend making the GP the least interesting (and least competitive) bit of sports on tv for me. 3
