Who is entered for Star of Midlands FF1600 on the 29th?

Steve - have you entered? Any others non-regulars?

lol - apart form the obvious!

It was fuel! i.e. ran out of it! Seemed to use more in the second race for some reason. Plus side - at least I have shown as long as I qualify well I am as quick as Wills at Mallory. Down side - can't trust my dad to fill it up! lol

I've entered - taking two clutches and asked Hewitt to bring some more.

Would that be a clutch of clutches, as in a scrotum of scrutineers?

I imagine Mr Miller will be taking more than a clutch of clutches given his Mallory experiences of the last 7 days

I'm seriously tempted not to put one in at all and just blitz the start. Problem at mo is I don't know why two AP clutches have broken - one with 3 and a half hours use and one with an hour. Can't wait to fit another and for it to break, but everyone one asked seems at a loss to try to explain it.
Ideas anyone (serious please Dawks).

Hopefully should have timetable tomorrow - can confirm it is ONE race on Saturday not two as per some early drafts.

Deleted Paul Sands post to avoid confusion. It referred to an early draft with two races when in fact there is only one.

That was the timetable I saw on Sunday too Paul. Spoke to Steve Burns about it:

"So, we have two races at Silverstone then, Steve?"
"Do we!?"

Or words to that effect.

JD, go to your local pharmacy and ask for some 'super strength brave pills'. Give them time to work, then come up north and see just how good you really are. H H

He didn't need any.
Firstly he is good and secondly our guys did manage to shoot themselves in the foot in race one and this made race two that much easier for him. Take nothing away from Mike, but it could / should have been so much harder for him.

Having seen three of the four regional championships, I rate Star of the Midlands ahead of North West from Castle Combe in terms of quality of entry.

To be honest, the quick guys in every series are effing quick!
Midlands does not have great numbers right now
but the strength is very, very good.
12th out of 15 on Sunday, 1.6 secs off pole and Gavin's pole time was a good 0.6 to 1.0 second quicker than being done two or three years ago for pole (when most people seem to agree the track was a tiny bit quicker with less bumps before the Lake Esses) ...
