I've seen this name passing by so now and then in the news the past few months:
Honda Athena Project

Zonta has tested the BAR Honda Athena - as it was named in the timetables - at Silverstone and Monza in recent months.

Still don't know what it is though. Largest description I found so far was something like 'integrated chassis design'.
They must be very proud for their own design to call it after the Greek goddess of wisdom.

Does anyone have some more information about this?

Honda are being very coy about this. As near as I can tell it is simply Honda's chassis ECU.

I think its something to do with all the car's electronics being integrated completely as opposed to the usual two separate systmes - engine & the rest - I'm sure a better description is in an old issue of Autosport a few months ago -or maybe on some web site - Honda or BAR maybe ?

Why is the Honda Integrated ECU so special. After all, Mclaren used a TAG system as far back as '93 when the F1 car was at its technical zenith?

THR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
exactly, so it must be something a bit more cleverer than that!

Right on, THR ... so what is it???

Didn't it had something to do with the front suspension as well?
