Sandgroper should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Not high on my priority list as have very low level of excitement from what I have seen.

The lowering of the SuperUtes has made them look better on track... still have some challenges in the going and slowing departments but the quick pilots are doing well in them.

And an Isuzu won the round.

Sounds good. I guess with a few tweaks it will get more interest. Certainly the drivers add to it, as do the variety of makes in this

Another day, another SuperUte on its roof. Outside of the Dunny Derby at parramatta speedway, has there been a series where cars roll over as often?

It's ironic isn't it - the Super Truck series wheels come off literally. The Super Utes series wheels are coming off figuratively

I don't think any race car would have escaped that, a solid wheel-to-wheel launch, unless the wheels were very well-protected (front wheel behind flimsy/normal bumper and rear wheel behind easily-squashed tray).

The utes look a lot more dynamic with the new tyre & suspension package, too bad the drivers got a bit over-excited. Not that carnage is new in the category inc. previous incarnation. Still gets a longer rope than the Supercars too, eg Price's squeeze of Alexander into turn 3 on the final lap of race 3.

Being honest any car would've gone over in that situation, lowering the utes seems to make them more stable and handle better.

If your talking about the wheel that come off during the rollover crash it physically broke as a result of the hit it took and didn't fall off as such.

That really wouldn't be a bad idea for a summer series!

Not that speedway needs anymore classes....that hasn't stopped circuit racing from doing it though
