Maybe one is to be sponsored by a contraception manufacturer whilst the other is to promote vans selling soft ice cream.

Then there will be the 'Stop me and buy one' car as well as the 'Buy me and stop one' car!

I've narrowed it down to a few possible brands.

Sun Life
Wiltshire Farm Foods
Sanatogen
Fixident

Although they may be bringing back Tena for Men from the Infiniti days.

Superb organisation...
8am on a Wednesday means it will be for Motorsports News, so inevitable there would be multiple announcements at some point.

So nip to the local newsagent at 7am, buy a copy and you too can break the embargo.

Ah yes, and an uppity BBC wouldn't broadcast the British GP in '76 (assuming my memory is correct) as contraception was terribly offensive. Still, it shows the BBC continues to be woefully out of touch then as they are now with any form of reality other than their namby pamby fluffy BBC version sponsored by Teletubbies with LGBT Unicorns.

Maybe our exciting sponsor is Viagra. Always remember Mark Martin's no. 6 Ford in NASCAR with foot high VIAGRA branding on the sides....

Two problems with that.
1) I doubt it's anything important enough to get me out if bed early.
2) I haven't seen a newsagent that actually sells MN for years

Especially given how a number of the stars of the beeb from the 70's have been proven to have been part of unsavoury activities around that period and their seemingly willingness to harbour them, it's laughable.
We just have to hope that Morecambe and Wise, and Murray aren't outed as nonces now.

Based on every high street near me, must be Poundland, Cash Converters or Oxfam.

Near me it would probably be Costa Coffee or Starbucks. Don't think any of the other dozen or so coffee shops or the multitude of takeaways are big enough to sponsor anyone.

To Let seems to be a popular shop around here. I've no idea what they sell though as they never appear to be open and when I look through the (dirty) widows I can't see anything..
