4mm? I repeat, 4mm!? What the hell difference is 4mm going to make to performance of the car!? I know i'm going to sound biased but that is a ridiculous penalty.

Rules are rules, and the line must be drawn somewhere I guess.

Malaysia take the sprint win after Germany and New Zealand clash at the start. Canada hold off France for 2nd followed by China, Czech Republic and USA.

Format for deciding the Feature grid means that Germany and New Zealand aren't as handicapped as they would have been if last year's format was used.
The Feature grid:
1 MAL
2 CAN
3 CHN
4 FRA
5 USA
6 CZE
7 GBR
8 MEX
9 SUI
10 NED
11 BRA
12 LEB
13 IRL
14 NZL
15 ITA
16 GER
17 INA
18 RSA
19 IND
20 AUS
21 GRE
22 SIN
23 PAK

Great racing produced by A1 yet again. Particularly good drives from Yoong and Enge, Hulkenberg and Reid were both very quick throughout the feature race as well, might have been a very different result without that sprint race accident...

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to withdraw my previous comments about that format. It may be too complicated for spectators to understand, but it produces better grids.

It's another good idea to have a longer interval between the races. Without that, Team Germany would never have got their car out for the Feature Race..

As for the racing, well, it was fantastic, wasn't it? Alex Yoong has to be the Driver of the Day, but Nico Hulkenberg is the Find of the Season so far.

I think they'd better put Darren Manning back in the Team GBR car for China. At least he knows the circuit.

I loved the comment on TV about Manning looking like he was 'on his way to the beach' (via the gravel trap) last weeked!

How many engine changes did GB have this weekend?!

I think they used 3 different engines 1 on Friday changed it for Sat then again on Sat night.
Good qually really seing as though the team had to change the engine to sort out the issues they had during Quallifying. But obviously the reason why Robbie ended up 4th was because he had 4mm extra width and they say size doesn't matter !!

As for the car having oversteer, it is down to the fact that neither the drivers nor the team have experience of the car. They are trying hard but you can not expect miracles really, things will get better with more testing and as people build experience over the season.

Great result for Alex Yoong and the Malaysian team, he really knew how to force a mistake out of the newbie even if he almost got himself taken out when the James turned in on him. It must be said given his experience he should have been passed him before then, but I guess he knew he would need to make his tyres last and eventually Hindtcliff would slip up.

Great to hear the crowd when Enge passed him aswell!

What happend to Ireland?
