Great first 2 rounds of the season!

Both at Fuji.

Lawson won the opener and was also strong in the 2nd, taking a 3rd.

Big field and lots of combat!!

I can see a great battle between Nojiri and Lawson this season, and as team mates too.

Agree. Pretty good effort from Lawson going straight into Qualifying at a circuit that was new to him and not having the chance to get any laps in prior because Practice was cancelled due to the weather. To put it on Grid 3 and then win the race was just fantastic.

Nojiri showed how good he is being able to ramp it up for the Sunday, and this apparently is his strength, he knows the setup changes he needs to make when he has to pick up his pace. He will be a formidable opponent.

It looks like Mugen can give them both a top car, let's bring it on!

Got the makings of a good season's watching and as opposed to F1, I just love the lack of tyre warmers and the cars seem to be able to folllow fairly closely which just makes everything much more interesting.

Lawson retakes lead in SF Championship

Lawson wins at Autopolis on tyres at least 16 laps older than his main rivals. Great race and must enhance his future prospects for a race seat at Alpha Tauri.

Yeah, great weekend for Lawson. He made the most of Nojiri missing the race.
Hopefully Nojiri is back for the next race, and that he isn't impacted too much!
