Notes:
The second column denotes championship position after Australia.
I noticed that one team had been left out of the championship standings since RoadAmerica, and I included them here. They would've been in P42 after Australia, so every team who was P42-P70 has been moved down a notch, as there were actually 71 teams.

Congratulations to RS Team Motorsports and Spiering Racing for winning in Mexico City!

And special congratulations to Team Prodrive for winning the 2004 Championship!

What an exciting finish to the season! Omega Motorsport had been in command of the championship, only to have it stolen away from them in the final round!

For the record, the championship team was comprised of two cars, not surprisingly they were Bourdais and Junqueira.

Thanks to everybody for playing! Already looking forward to next season, when we may well have two brand-new games to take part in!

By-the-way... Who owns the championship team?
My spreadsheets do not associate usernames with team names, and I'm quite curious!

I forgot to give "Honourable Mention" to Yummy Canadian Racing, so here goes...

Honourable Mention goes to Yummy Canadian Racing for allegedly having the hottest drivers.

Sweet... my I came in 21st place!

Oh yeah, our team did GREAT this year

Haha... BTW this was fun! Congrats to the winners!

Let's do this again next year!

Team Firefox announces an expansion of 20 drivers!

But seriously... next year lets keep a base rule that each team should only have 2 or 3 drivers, just to keep things equal.

Lucky Strike BAR Domènech Racing PR

Lucky Strike BAR Domènech Racing is disappointed it didn't win the ultimate prize. However, Lucky Strike BAR Domènech Racing is happy that, in third place, we are the first team classified using only one of the Newman-Haas drivers, Sebastien Bourdais, whom we congratulate. We also want to thank the efforts of Patrick Carpentier and Oriol ServiÃ*. We genuinely think ours was a top lineup.

A proposal for next year: If the Newman-Haas/da Matta deal comes to fruition, there should be a rule preventing people from picking the three Newman-Haas drivers, as it would be too much of bore.

From Underwood/Andretti Racing co-owner Kevin Underwood:

We here at Underwood/Andretti Racing are happy to be in the to 10 in our first year as a team. Congrats are in order for our three drivers, Bruno Junquiera, Paul Tracy, and Jimmy Vasser. Congratulations also go out to SALEEN S7R for winning the Fantasy Championship, Sebastien Bourdais for being the ChampCar Champion, and AJ Allmendinger for winning Rookie of the Year. We here at UAR hope to return next year and improve on our position. Thank you.

Omega, what happened is that you have Junky as your #3 driver, you could not use his points because nobody retired. You could only score his "charger" points, which in this case was zero.

Aw.....

Omega Motorports would like to thank it's three drivers for an outstanding season, who together won 10 of the 14 races this year, and combined for a dominating 21 podium finishes! We also swept the podium in Cleveland. All of this in only our second year in the championship gives us much to look forward to in the future.

We would also like to thank macdaddy and Liz (wherever she is) for their outstanding work as comissioners of the Fantasy grid.

Again, our congratulations goes out to Prodrive who squeaked past us in a final round nail biter.

Now let's all get drunk and play ping pong!
