Someone needs to tell Frosty that Supercars racing is just as artificial and Balance of Performance driven as the European racing that he talks down in the interview...

What I heard in that is the disappointment in his current situation, even if he re-signs at Tickford.

He'd only do it if it was FIFO. Even then, the team would expect a higher commitment than that.

Nah, not going to Brazil, just using it as a lever for the Tickford contract renewal discussion

This would surely be a huge backwards step.
The only name I recognise in the 'Stock Car Brasil' series (apart from Barrichello) is Max Wilson, who seemed far more eager to run in V8 Supercars than in his own domestic series. |

My first thought too. As unhappy as he might be at Tickford Brazil would be a backwards step. It’s not like he has a good relationship with another big manufacturer such as Chaz has with BMW that could take him Europe or the US |

Not looking good for Frosty when he can't beat Simona over 300km.

Surprised no-one has given Max an enduro seat or at the very least a drive at a test and/or ride day.
Getting back on topic, Frosty would be an instrumental piece with the development of the Mustang due to his long experience. |

With all respects he is not showing much talent in that area currently..... the only result of note tthis year was when he (by his own admission) copied Chaz's setup. Whether it is an engineer thing or his own input in the development this year is open to debate. Clearly something is not there.

It is widely known, that a Winterbottom-centric setup is undrivable by most. So no, I don't believe he's the best person to "develop" the Mustang.

Yeah, heart.... You can clearly see in the body language that he's gone. Taking his time to find the right words for TV and avoid a decent fine.
So the question is, did he fall off the cliff after winning the championship, or has the old green paint work curse come back once again?? What's another 2 years going to achieve for him even with new car next year?? |

Again, the declining results from TR seems proportionate with the withdrawal of their factory funding.
