SeaBass not Genuine???
Is it just me or does anyone else see SeaBass just a little arrogant at times?
I mean he comes across as a friendly young man when things go his way and then becomes Mister Clean (No dirt on Me!) when things get a messy. With a friend like that I would watch my better half...(you remember.."Woody I am going to steal your girlfriend!") |

I am really enjoying this rivalry develop. Both are getting involved, Bourdai refering to Tracy's driving as stupid and Tracy sniping back that Bourdai is acting like a kid in thrid grade.
Look foward to some more on track battles. At the moment I'm really liking Sebastien. Maybe just because someone is taking it up to Tracy. |

Until this year he seemed like a classy guy. I think because he did so well last season he's grown an ego. I think he's frustrated that he didn't get a shot at F1 and he's not winning with ease this year. Thus he's not being very diplomatic and comes across as arogant. The team seems to echo his sentiments so perhaps it's a NH environment thing. (group mentality, etc)

Until this year he was a classy guy? What about Le Mans last year? He's a graet driver but doesn't come across as a pleasant guy.

Thin skin is not a great asset to any sports figure. Just ask Nigel Mansell!
Too bad Servia is such a nice guy, or we might have another Piquet/Mansell rivalry as the teammate with the hide of a rhinoceros prodded the one with the skin of a, well, Frenchman. And who knows, it would make a great chance for Servia to prove he's deserving of a full time drive on the best team going. Hey, Oriol. Got a good script writer? Want one? |

I've actually grown a new respect for Bourdais this year. He's really shown a bit of a penchant for getting down and dirty this year, both on and off the track. Sometimes he's been in the right, sometimes the wrong (he was totally out of line at Monterrey, for example).
But he's been willing to get stuck into the middle of the mess and stir it up a bit - and it's this sort of trait that makes Champ Car so enjoyable to watch. |

Whether Sebastian is right or wrong at times, it is cool to see the emotions at times. It means that he and other drivers are not robots. Driving does bring out tension and emotions, and it is great for the fans to see that.

Maybe Tracy will be Piquet to Bourdais' Mansell -- he has the way of kind of smirking when he says, "acting like a third grader" or other comments that are kind of under the radar. There are a number of people who have commented that Tracy is 'inside Bourdais' head' and that Bourdais refers to Tracy frequently when talking about his own tactics on the track. Excellent tactic by Tracy and I'm enjoying it.

Ask Martin Short (the race driver, not the comedian) what he thinks of Bourdais. Stand back first.

Indeed.
Bourdais at Le Mans 2004 was one of the most shameful acts, and shameful conduct post said acts of all time. However, he seems more mature now. |
