QR Procar Thread

Here we go folks! I wonder how this will work out, and what classes they will promote. For Wakeifeld Park they flogged the BRutes because of the rural setting....but at QR most of their fan base will be city folk...
The program will feature:

2001 PROCAR series

Nations Cup Round 4
GT Performance Round 4
GT Production Round 4
V8 BRutes Round 2

PLUS!!

Mitsubishi Mirage Series
Formula 3
Improved Production

To be honest, that sounds like a pretty good sort of deal. I've never seen the Mirages or F3 before, so i guess that will be interesting....and i wonder if the BRutes will turn on enough action?

If the Procar meeting at Wakefield is any thing to go buy it should be a good day. The day is just chock full of decent racing over a variety of classes.

What PROCAR is doing is great, we know have the ATCC meetings to enjoy and the great racing at the PROCAR meetings, if only PROCAR had thier own TV show. Hopefully the Powertour gets going well and we can have 3 great racing packages all year round.

Hey Folks,
Since I gave up buying MSNews early this year to take my mosport news from the 'net, I seemed to have missed some emerging categories.
Anyone do me a link/s to the above mentioned? Cheers R.

Wakefield Park was a very good day of racing, despite the wind, cold and rain.

Keep buying Motorsport News though...great read. Especially the BrUtes coverage from Wakefield

ARRGH!

I've been sort of roped into help organise a grid of Improved Production cars for the meeting....if anyone who has an Improved Production (or Group N for that matter) car and is willing/able to race on that weekend, drop me a line!!

I might bring this one back from the depths of page 3...

It's only a couple of weeks away now, and I've got 13 2-for-1 discount passes to the race meeting. Drop me a line at www.qrda.asn.au and I'll pop one in the post for you
