Rust

If you have bad rust on a saloon racecar, or if there are holes caused by rust in the chassis or suspension points, whats the best thing to do about it ?

Get another chassis and put the good race parts on that. There's no saving it unless you're superwealthy and it's a collectible.

You'll get away with superficial rust in the odd panel woody but the Scrutes will condemn anything structural. Buy another shell, seam-weld it etc etc and swap the bits over. It really aint safe to race a rust bucket!
