Yep - think everybody looks forward to this now. Certainly has turned into a major event with the CSMA backing. I heard it was advertised in the Express this week ? 4th year I think now, 30,000 plus people last year, if the weather stays good this is just a great club racing weekend. We're only out on the Sat but considering staying down for the Sun too. So who else is going ?

I think it's 26 on the short (Indy) circuit but could be 28. I'll try and find out over the weekend for you.

As of COB yesterday for Sunday's:
28 Classic Thunder
27 Group One TC
I believe Brands can start 30 saloons. As it's a class based system there is no qualifying/pre-racing - It's reserves decided on first come first served.
There's always 3 or 4 coming in late so imagine we will have full grids and reserves on Sunday.
Got a few odd jobs to do on the Mazda today too, as well as checking it over. Don't want to find anything wrong with the car in the week before the meeting so I'd like to do it now..
Looking forward to it, it's not a circuit which plays to the strengths of the Mazda so I should get a good run with the Escorts, Rovers and Capri's. Will have to wait and see how much power the XJS will have up the pit straight to know if I can stay with him.

sounds good but clashes with HSCC/VSCC two day Silverstone festival on International circuit. HSCC Brands Hatch Superprix meeting on the Grand Prix circuit is one of the highlights of the year so understand your enthusiasm!
