SVRA Formula Car Festival Sept. 28-Oct 1

While, as the name suggests, the focus of SVRA's annual Formula Car Festival at Virginia International Race way is on Formula Cars, the schedule includes races for all of SVRA's race groups. With approximately 250 entries it is a medium size event with a somewhat relaxed atmosphere.

Virginia International Raceway (VIR) was active in the sixties up to the mid-seventies when it was closed. New owners purchased the property in the late nineties and after refurbsihing the track and grounds reopened it in 2000.

Excellent; Scott Hackensen obviously has a good sense of humour with the headlamps on the Shelby GT350!
