Gornall's withdrawal from the weekend means a further review of the rules - and has caused a bit of work with the results.
Having checked, and reapplied the process, those who have been following closely will notice a jump in some scores. This is a result of dropped scores being reassessed, where because single drivers may miss three races, they will only have been selected once at that round. Previous results had included three dropped scores, but on reflection this only needs to be one dropped score for each round that a driver misses (if picked by entrants). So as we head to the final round, there are theoretically five in contention for the title. Everything is down to the round 27 picks. At the other end, 1 point separates the bottom two – with six theoretically aiming to avoid the wooden spoon. |
