Well that sucks here with the delay, apparently ESPN2 decided that's enough F1, we need to show some semi pro or something basketball game. So my recording cut out at lap 4, feeling the love ESPN.

they should have started at original time of 16:30, then would have finished before rain even came.

Can see where the stewards were coming from but still thought a harsh penalty for Lewis. Would have preferred it being a racing incident.

Perez tho took a beating after Ham got past…wonder if that factored in the stewards assessment?

I was pretty surprised to see Fernando make the mistake of going on the throttle on the kerb. You would think he knew that is not a good idea in the wet.

On the broadcast they mentioned 8 DNFs over his years here and if memory serves I don’t think he has ever won and F1 race at Spa?

Definitely surprising his lack of success/luck here.

No he has never won here.... nor taken a pole, nor a F/L and has just 3 podiums out of 17 starts. (18 with today's Sprint)

He has led at Spa for a total of 7 laps though.

Completely agree. Perez was already slow and clearly holding up Hamilton. Still, it gave him a good excuse for a weak performance.
