We don't get quals in Oz. Can anyone shed some light on why the practice times were faster thatn Quals? What happened to Montoya? How many laps do they get in quals?

In quals the cars go one and one, whilst in practice they can have the advantage of getting a "tow", like Montoya did when he set fastest time.
They get two flying laps in quals. BTW you can listen to audio broadcast and watch graphics of the current standings at any time during practice and quals at www.cart.com if you don't get them televised. A bit late now, perhaps, but anyway a tip for next season... |

Thanks R. Now, one last qurestion: is there aninternet site where we can losten to live audio and also watch graphics for F1 quals? We don't get F1 quals in Oz either.
