2009 Concerts at Le Mans
Has anyone heard if there will be any bands playing again this year, as no practice on Wednesday I doubt we will have the same format as last year but if anyone has heard any gossip I would be interested to know.

I know nothing of the first two.
Martin Solveig (sp?) is a very good club DJ - can't imagine it'll sit very well with the Petrolheads though... IMO Sat night at Le Mans is not a clubbing night!

I camped near some Dutch folk last year armed with several fireworks, cigarettes with another substance other than tabacco (), a Hi-Fi system and a Johnny Cash 'Best Of' CD compilation. After that, I have had a phobia of Johnny Cash, Music at Le Mans and a Dutch win in the Soccer European Championships.

The Dutch are fantastic people. I spent almost 5 months there last year for work and they're just fascinating! I was there in June, the week after Le Mans during the European Champs and saw they lost. The only thing that happened was that all the orange fluff on the buildings disappeared!
Plus they all speak English (or enough to get through) so I had no problems there!

Golden brown!?!!?

I love the Dutch too, just that group got a bit annoying at 3:30 am. One year I played scalextrics on the campsite with them!

looks like the stranglers are a popular choice amongst the older ten-tenthers, just had a look at the line up which although no longer has hugh cornwell on guitar and vocals includes 3 of the original band from the 70's Jet Black, Dave Greenfield and Jean-Jacques Burnel. Baz Warne now takes Hugh Cornwell's place hope they still have the same energy as I remember.
