The RLM interview with Dr Ulrich before the start seemed to suggest it was differential trouble...
Seems like a bit of a mess for the field early on! |

Well Audi have clearly answered the bell in my opinion. They've set a great pace so far and have managed a 15 lap stint. The race isn't over, but they've proved the worth of diesel IMO. Great stuff. That car looks aboslutely marvelous as it works it way around the circuit. Beautiful car.

Is chat working?
Can't get on myself. Stunning pace from Audi, 3.33/34's regularly! Even if the diesels are moved more in line with petrol restrictors next season, they'll still be supper powerful/competitive. Don't wish to have a downer on any team, but we wonder why Pesca, Creation, Intersport, Aston can't compete with the class winning competition, week in, week out, well the first 15 minutes highlighted stupid menchanical/team management issues. |

Good point JAG. Idealy, it would be nice to have more factory involvement in LMP1 with LMP2 being more suited to privateers. Silly mistakes are magnified when you're up against the likes of Audi.

And Kristensen sets fastest lap of the race, which just happened to be better than Pescarolo's qualifying times!
